Today I thought I would try something a little different for me, I love making my MDF hearts and Mountboard tags, but I see lots of altered art things which really fascinate me, so I thought I would have a little go, I covered a wine bottle last week but didn’t blog it as it needed tweaking, but here is my effort for my MDF tag, hope you like it x

I have made this tag by covering the MDF with Gesso, then glueing some lace and random pieces such as beads wooden hearts and bits of old jewellery, I then sprayed it with Dylusions ink sprays, once dry, I added Americana acrylic paint in gold and mixed it with metallic silver, added a few words and sealed with Mod Podge clear acrylic sealer. and finished off with enchanted gold gilding wax on the embellishments.
