Heartfelt Creations Joy to the World

Standard

Hello visitors

I made this Christmas card for Oyster Stamps this week, showing one of the new stamps now available from the shop.

It is from Heartfelt Creations.

Joy to the world

heartfelt creations joy to the world

I used brown card and some Christmas paper from my stash, stamped the imaged with archival black ink onto white card, and painted the manger and scroll with masking fluid.

I used distressed inks, gathered twigs and tea dye around the edges of my card, and around the scroll, then peeled off the masking fluid.

Using a Tombow blender pen, I coloured the manger and high lighted the scroll with distress ink.

I added glitter to the star

For the flowers I used Heartfelt Creations Christmas Poinsettia stamp and co coordinating sun-kissed die.

I coloured these with distress ink in Mustard Seed.

My 3D stamp paste in gold has gone completely dry! but not to be wasted lol,

I used a damp paint brush and painted over the flowers to give them a glittery shine.

The leaves are also Heartfelt, open leaf.

Coloured in Peeled paint Distress ink and 3D gold paste as above.

I glued my flowers and leaves into place and finished with some flat backed pearls.

Mum’s Birthday

Standard

I had a fabulous day out yesterday with family and friends in London, lunch on the river and a ride on the London Eye, an early 75th birthday present for my Dad. But it is actually my Mums birthday this week, so I treated her too.

This is the card I made for her.

heartfelt stamp cardI used an 8×8 scalloped card and green patterned paper as a background, I distressed it with spiced marmalade distress inks and stamped with Heartfelt Creations Embrace Time background.

I used glossy accents on the clock faces.

I made the tag and added some embellishments, which I sprayed with Dylusions, and mica sprays.

Added some words and ribbon.

Used distress ink to colour two strips of card, and stamped my wording.

Spellbinders pop up cards

Standard

Hello Visitors

I’m glad to see the sun has finally come out these last few days, I had a lovely day in Broadstairs this week with my daughter and grand-daughter.

This week I tried out the new Spellbinders pop up dies for Oyster Stamps, I have made three cards, two using the Decorated Birthday and one with the Gift of Happiness.

I have used all of the elements from the Decorated Birthday across the two cards.

Spellbinders Decorated Birthday

The second card I have cut twice, one in white and one in coloured card.

Then I cut along the score lines to cut out the pieces I wanted to use.

This one is using the Gift of Happiness

Again I have added some patterned card to co ordinate with my pink base card.

I did try 350gsm card which the dies did cut, but I found it too thick when it came to folding as it cracked. So I have used 250gsm here.

Both of these Spellbinder Dies are available now from Oyster Stamps
