Hi

Well the holidays are over and it was back to work for me today, over the holidays I made this mirror for Liz whom I work with, it is for her daughter Hannah.

 Hannah’s has been away on a world scout Jamboree in Japan, so while she was away Liz decorated her bedroom and gave me some of the wallpaper, which I have incorporated in the decoration.

I have used various embossing folders for the patterns and arranged each piece around the mirror, then glued into place.

Then I painted each one with chalky paints and acrylics.

I used the wallpaper to make the frame, flower and letters for ‘smile’

I used the lady template from Gabrielle Pollaco, coloured with copics, then cut up a silk flower for the dress and added some bling.

I finished off with some gilding wax
