Hello visitors,
I’ve not blogged for a while! I don’t know where the time went, I celebrated my 25th wedding anniversary last month in Tuscany, very beautiful and relaxing, had a very busy week returning to work, and now I have had enough of this bad weather:( where is our summer !!
I made this card for Fathers day a while ago as part of a card challenge, we had to use certain ingredients, ie: gold, blue, cogs, ink etc, so I thought I would get one of my father’s day cards ready as I knew I was in for a busy time doing other bits and pieces.
For this card I used chipped sapphire and broken china distress inks for my background.
Then randomly stamped the splattered patches with distress ink, and highlighted them with a white gel pen, using an old glue lid I dipped it into some gesso, white and black to add the circles.
I used a timepiece stencil with white embossing powder, and Andy Skinner’s cog stencil with gold paste.
To finish off I added some words.
This one is for my father in Law
Happy Fathers day Bill
xx
