Amazon delivered a package a few weeks ago, in this cardboard envelope, I liked the shape and in my mind saw a whole new look, so I kept it and up cycled it last night.

I chose 4 sheets of 12 x 12 papers 2 of each.

Then carefully opened up the glued edges.

I cut strips of the rose paper to fit around the edges, then went over it with the black ‘bitten’ rose paper.

I had to do this because the paper wasn’t big enough, but I thought it turned out ok.

Once it was all covered inside and out, I added stripes of gems to frame the centre paper on both sides.

 

Using a cropodile, I punched some holes and added metal eyes.

Then threaded some red ribbon through and tied the bow to finish off.
