Hello
I haven’t made an MDF heart for a while, so I thought I would share this recently made one with you today.
I have covered the mdf with a coat of white gesso, then used chalk paint in heritage (orange) and delicate (yellow) I stamped a floral image with versamark and used fine clear embossing powder. I went around the edges and over the embossing with a little distress ink in scattered straw.
Using 160gsm white card, I stamped and die cut the delightful Daisy from Heartfelt creations.
On the leaves I have used distress ink in peeled paint, crushed olive and mustard seed, for the flowers I used Spiced marmalade and mustard seed.
I shaped the flowers and layered them up finishing with a gem in the centre.
I stamped the sentiment Dream Forever (from Stampendous) in black versafine ink and used clear embossing powder.
To finish off I glued the flowers in place and added some small eyelets to my drilled holes.
Threaded with brown string and wooden beads, I used promarkers to colour the beads.
Hope you like this one
