Wedding Day

Standard

Hello all,

I was asked to make the table plan for my step son Rik and his future wife Abi, they had a beautiful wedding last week, and the theme was a rustic vibe and the venue looked amazing, so congratulations to the happy couple who are now on their honeymoon.

I think I can say on behalf of everyone there it was a truly wonderful day.

I used a sheet of A1 mount board for the base, printed off the names on to some kraft card cut to correct size, then hot foiled it in red and mounted it onto some wine coloured card cut slightly larger leaving a 5mm border. I add some lace to each one and glues them into position.

I used some wider lace and contrasting ribbon and finished off with a wooden heart, I continued the lace to the back of the mountboard and the glued another sheet of mountboard to it so that it gave the whole table plan some extra strength.

For the Wedding card I typed up lots of loving and romantic meaningful words in different fonts and added their names and wedding date to the centre the printed it off on some silk card.

I then heat foiled it in silver and cut it out using a heart-shaped die, and then using a larger die cut another heart from silver mirror card. I mat and layered it using mirror cars and silk card and mount this onto my scalloped base card. I stamped the sentiment in black versafine ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder, and added a few gems to finish.

I think the Bride & Groom were happy with my efforts lol

thanks for looking today
