Visible Image Peace Love and Hope

Standard

Hi crafty friends

Here are some more samples that I made on Saturday at Eileen’s workshop.http://eileenscraftyzone.blogspot.com/

Christmas cards using visible image stencils.

I have used the fibres stencil and the strobes stencil.

I taped off both ends of the card and secured the stencil, then used distress inks, I stamp the words and images in black versafine ink and finished of with some glitter. (larger reindeer is from Lavinia stamps)

Quick and easy cards but very effective.

Love this set of stamps.

Sweet Poppy Peacock Stencil

Standard

Hi

This is a canvas that I made yesterday at Eileen’s workshop.http://eileenscraftyzone.blogspot.com/

It was a great day, very messy but all good fun.

I blended distress oxides to colour the background, then mixed some paste with some green mica powder and spread this randomly through a stencil.

Once this was dry I used the Plum archival ink through a spotty stencil, then using a splodge stamp I inked it up with black archival ink and stamped this around the canvas then did the same using white paint. Then taking a white and a black gel pen I drew around each one.

The main image is a peacock from Sweet Poppy Stencil, which I used with black archival ink.

I stamp the words straight onto the canvas and added some green beads and gold glitter, I used a bit of gilding wax to highlight the areas with paste.

Building up the layers

Thanks for looking
