Hi,

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas, I have enjoyed spending time at home with family and recharging my batteries before returning to work in January.

I thought I would share two projects with you today that I made just before Christmas, both were made to give as gifts for my school Headmaster and his wife.

So after having a little a go at wood turning back in the summer, I have now taken this up as a new hobby! I work out in the shed at the moment which is a little cold but the patio heater comes in handy! I have a small lathe set up for now, and was lucky enough to be given a large lathe and lots of tools.

In October I joined Kent Wood Turners and A.W.G.B, have had two lessons so far but still have much to learn!

The pen is a sienna Pen in blue acrylic and the seam ripper is in Turquoise acrylic
