JOFY Flowers medal holder

Standard

Afternoon everyone

Its a very miserable day here in Kent, I hope it stops raining soon as I am off to a Glow run tonight with friends from running club and I don’t fancy getting soaked lol, its lovely to be able to get out with friends again unlike 2020!

During the lockdown I made this medal holder and ran a free draw at running club (B2R) which was won by my running friend Denise.

I love flowers designed by JOFY for Paperartsy, I usually colour my backgrounds but really liked this one left white.

I printed the sentiment and runner from my printer then ran it through my foiler, then stamped the flowers using a black versamark ink and clear embossing powder heated with a heat gun.

I used pro markers to colour in the flowers and sealed it with a glossy clear spray sealer.

I did add the hooks afterwards to hold the medals on but forgot to take a photo!!

Thanks for popping in

Have a great day

xx

Vintage mdf box

Standard

Hi

Today I finally got around to covering this little MDF box, It’s been sitting in my stash for a while, and I fancied a quick little project today.

It’s handy for make up brushes or pens.

I chose a sheet of paper from the Mademoiselle stack, covered the box inside and out.

Then using distress inks in vintage photo and rusty hinge, I inked the edges and just over the embossed paper to make it stand out better.

I added ‘ live, laugh & love’ to the sides, along with a butterfly, hearts and a card stand with I used for a corner.
