Welcome to my blog today
I made this card for my Daughter Shannon, she moved into her new home this weekend,
I wish her every happiness, and know she is thrilled to bits.
So for her card I used Heartfelt Creations Floral Doorway & Latch stamp, and coloured it in with Inktense pencils.
I used glossy accents over part of the handle.
Added liquid pearls to the flowers, and a wooden key, which I rubbed over with silver Inka Gold.
The letters are from Tattered Lace, and I added some wooden hearts.
Then mat and layered onto Black & white card.
Thanks for looking today
Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and wish you all a Happy New Year.
Now its back to reality settling back into work and getting up early haha.
While I was at home over the festive period I finally got around to making my Tonic box which was a present from the previous year!!
I chose my papers from the K&Company, Hannah scrapbook pad
I used crackle and wax, made some plaster of paris flowers and coloured them with distress inks, then spritzed them with a shimmer and added some wired beads
I used some black soot distress ink over the cream paint on the wood to give an old used look
I’m happy with the way it turned out it did take about a week though, now I have to decide where it’s going to live and what to keep in it!
Buying and wrapping presents, food shopping I thought I had finished and was all ready for Christmas. But no! I forgot my centre piece for my table, so I have had to make it and I have just finished!
I had a piece of log in the garden brushed it all off and sprayed it with a sealer ( I didn’t wants bugs on my table lol )
I took a napkin planned for Christmas dinner and found a white candle, I got Hubby to drill me a hole for the candle, I used a sheet of thick white paper and some garden string.
I decorated the candle first, by cutting out desired pattern from the napkin, separated the layers and using only the printed piece. Then I heated up the a teaspoon and rubbed it over the napkin onto the candle, the wax melted into the napkin and set in place.
Taking my sheet of white paper, I sprayed it with stick and spray and laid the napkin onto it, then varnished it all over with a sealer and dried it with a heat tool. Then Using Heartfelt Creations Poinsettia die, cut out my flowers and shaped them with a ball tool.
Glued the garden string around the log added snow dust and glitter to the top.
Then I added my flowers, leaves and gems.
So now it matches my tablecloth and napkins, I laid up the table ready for tomorrows dinner
and now I’m off for a glass of wine
I’m sharing this coaster with you today, I made it a while ago as a sample for a make and take, I love the colours considering it start out black and white!
Using an MDF coaster and mod podge I glued in place a black and white serviette, and once it was dry I coloured in the flowers, leaves and the word ‘home’ with silko paints.
Then using various browns of distress inks I shaded around the edges.
To finish off I covered the whole coaster with triple thick gloss glaze.

Well Christmas is nearly upon us, I have finished present shopping and wrapping, just have the dreaded food shop to fit in now.
I thought I would blog a bottle as I haven’t made one for a little while, I wanted to give it a Christmas look, and this is how it turned out.
I covered the bottle with two coats of white Gesso then painted it with white chalky paint.
I selected my serviette and tore out the bits I wanted to use then separated the tissue and glued it in place with Mod Podge.
Once dry I painted over the tissue with another coat of Mod Podge and let it dry.
I touched up with White chalky paint just around the edges of the serviette and then using a sponge, randomly dabbed on green chalky paint.
Once dry, I painted the whole bottle with a decoupage varnish.
Glued in place a Happy Christmas sentiment with Mod Podge and added a rosette with an Ivy print.
To finish off I added ribbon and a wooden tag.
Have a Merry Christmas
It was my lovely daughter Shannon’s 24th Birthday yesterday, she has a love for pugs, so I made her this box card, with pugs and flowers.
I made a little scroll for the sentiment and tied it with thread.

And some pictures of Doug the Pug
Happy Pug Day Shannon xx

It’s been a while since my last blog my Dad was in hospital for a few weeks and had an operation, he much better now and doing very well, It was recently his 75th Birthday and this is the card that I made for him.
I cut the card at an angle just on the front, then covered my base card with papers from Heartfelt Creations All Geared Up collection.
I made some tags layered them and stamped them with different sentiments and put photos on the reverse side, then inserted them into a little pocket.
I added a tattered lace bottle die and put my main message on the reverse side of the card.

A card for my Nephew in law,
He likes this colour palette, so I hope he likes this too!
I used white card and coloured it with dusty concord and salty ocean distress inks.
Then stamped it with Tim Holtz collection, and some random splodges from Prima.
I embossed it using Sheena Douglass distress embossing folder, I trimmed the panel from the main card and stamped Happy Birthday down the side and mounted it onto black card.
The sentiment is from Stampendous and I cut this out using Spellbinders label 4 small,
then coloured it with dusty concord and salty ocean.
